myhomemove conference returns for 2014 – ‘Brick and Click’
myhomemove, the UK’s leading provider of mover conveyancing services, has announced that the date for its annual conference will be on 14th May 2014. Themed as ‘Brick and Click’, the conference will look at understanding and challenging the part technology plays in the home buying and selling process; as well as a wider debate and analysis of the UK market and housing sector.
Being held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, the conference will hear from industry experts including James Knightley, Senior Economist at ING, Stephen Ward from the Council for Licensed Conveyancers and Bruce Harryman, Senior Manager at John Lewis; as they discuss the economy, issues of risk and fraud, and how the internet is changing the way businesses operate.
Following the keynote speakers, the afternoon will comprise of two panel sessions. The first will include Miles Shipside co-founder of Rightmove, Adam Day, Director of Hatched and Jon Cooke, MD of Your Move, as they discuss how the ‘Brick and Click’ business model is affecting the property industry. The second session will focus on the UK’s Housing Strategy including Robert Sinclair, CEO of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries, Peter Williams, Executive Director of the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association and Paul Broadhead, Head of Policy at the Building Societies Association, leading the discussion.
