My Home Move conference hailed a success
April 18, 2013The My Home Move conference held in Warwickshire yesterday has been deemed a valuable event and has received positive feedback from attendees and speakers.
Industry experts, lenders and estate agents gathered to interact at this years ‘Lets do the Numbers’ event which heard from a top line-up of presenters including ING Direct’s Chief Economist James Knightley and David Finlay, Managing Director, Intermediary Channel at Barclays.
A wealth of market knowledge was shared including a pattern in the predicted growth in the Buy-to-Let market.
Ben Thompson, Director of Legal and General’s Mortgage Club revealed thought provoking information about today’s home mover, including the average age that most people aspire to leave home, which is calculated at around 23.
Doug Crawford, Chief Executive at My Home Move revealed that last year the top 100 conveyancing firms carried out 27% of sales, this shows the growth and consolidation of today’s modern conveyancer with larger firms taking an increasing share of transactions.
