In November, Doug told you all about the annual awards ceremony we have at My Home Move. The Customer at the Heart Awards is the biggest event in the MHM calendar, as over 450 employees from up and down the country come together to celebrate our success and recognise colleagues that have gone above and beyond to ensure people get the very best from My Home Move.
One of the most hotly contested awards is Team of the Year, with our conveyancing and support teams all stating their case as to why they should win. Judging this award is incredibly hard, especially as we know that every team is integral to our success and all are equally deserving of recognition.
But this time, for me, there was a stand-out winner.
At the beginning of 2017, I set the huge challenge of growing our remortgage case volumes. As we began to win new business and saw the cases flowing in, our Remortgage team came under enormous pressure to deliver more than they had ever before. They are a relatively small team, but I knew that they were more than capable of delivering the very best remortgage conveyancing service, no matter how busy it got.
Led by the fantastic Anthony Rimmer, the Remortgage team pulled together and delivered some amazing results in 2017. Not only did they keep breaking our monthly remortgage completions record, they also maintained great customer satisfaction levels throughout. It is through their hard work that the business saw phenomenal growth in this area, and I was extremely proud to learn that they had been named Team of the Year at the awards ceremony.
